These are Carolina Reaper pods, the hottest peppers in the world and these three guys are about to take them on in a Reaper Burger Challenge. It's so intense that they have to wear gloves to participate.
The burger is made with 6oz beef patties. The Reaper pods are sautéed in butter and the restaurant's insanity sauce which is made out of Ghost Pepper, Carolina Reaper Pepper, and Habanero. That's all topped with pepper jack cheese and of course, more insanity sauce.
The guys all really had a solid start. They were all taking big bites and the goal was just to try and finish it as quickly possible. But, then the pain started kicking in. They started crying, sweating, and just all over in pain. Unfortunately, all three of them had to tap out and no one won the challenge. So, what do you think?
