It’s been years since I’ve been to the Towne East Square Mall in Wichita, and I’m very happy I got an excuse to go back. I love potatoes - whether they’re fried, baked, steamed, or whatever. So I knew I needed to check out Hot Potato Bar.
They’re known for their “Build Your Own Baked Potato” Bar where they have a large variety of toppings and sauces that you can add to your baked potato.
You can find their food stall at the food court area. The potatoes are huge, and they break down the inside to add butter, cheese, and salt & pepper so it becomes creamy.
Hot Potato Bar is owned by two humble immigrants, Dima Alwazni and Haitham Tholoth. I also met with Dima’s sister, Roaa Alwazni.
Each potato was enough for three meals for me since they were so filling. Please check this place out for good food and also to support a family-owned business.
