I've got some leftover chicken, bacon, salad, leftover potatoes, tomatoes, and cheese so I'm going to try to make chicken wrapped in cheese and bacon. Will this be too salty? Probably. I started with cooking the bacon and then I used my expert knife skills to cut thin slices of cheese. I'm just cooking the bacon for a little bit since I'm still going to bake it with the chicken. So when I made the chicken thighs, I wasn't a hundred percent happy with the un-crispiness of the skin so I'm going to cook it for a little bit in the bacon fat. Then I placed the cheese on top and tried my best to wrap the chicken and bacon. This was a bit of a struggle but I think I got it to work. I put them back in the bacon grease with a few pats of encouragement and then I popped them in an oven for 10 minutes at 400° Fahrenheit.
I knew this would be unhealthy so to make myself feel better I made a little side salad with cherry tomatoes and a vinaigrette. I reheated the potatoes and plated those as well and because I felt fancy, I cut some chives over the top. This was a bit tricky to cut so I used a big knife and I'm being totally honest when I say this, it actually tasted pretty good. I thought it would be too salty and savory but the cheese helped mellow everything out. I had the juiciness of the chicken with the crispiness of the bacon and the cheesiness of the cheese. And I created the ultimate bite by combining everything.
