I used to be uncomfortable eating at restaurants alone. I felt like everyone was staring at me especially since I was taking pictures and recording the food for content. Luckily I've done it so much the past few years that I don't care anymore. People have their own stuff to think about and I guarantee they're not judging me or anyone for eating alone. It's weird to think that it's almost taboo to go solo dining.
I mean as much as I love eating with friends and family, sitting down by yourself to enjoy a meal has its own benefits as well. One, you don't have to share and I'm totally just kidding. I love sharing food but if you don't then this is perfect for you. Two, you don't have to worry about if the other person likes their food. I don't know why but I always feel this immense responsibility for the other person to enjoy their food and I feel sad if they don't. Third, you can double-dip in the salsa and eat all the chips yourself and there are plenty of other benefits. I'm going to be doing a solo road trip soon across six states and I'm excited for all my meals for one. Do you like solo dining?
