Eating instant ramen at a hotel

A couple months ago, I went to Hawaii with my family and we made a pit stop in California to stay for the night. We ordered a bunch of food from a restaurant and we're excited to eat it since we've been traveling all day. The food said it would get to us within 2 hours but right near the 2-hour mark, the restaurant canceled the order. We were so sad.

Luckily, my sister-in-law brought a stash of cup noodles that we ended up eating at the hotel. We used the microwaves in the lobby to cook the noodles. It wasn't the dinner we'd hope for but it did its job. My parents actually used to do this all the time when we went on trips to save money. They would bring a little burner and pots to cook the noodles in.
