I posted a spring roll video a few days ago and people noticed I left the shrimp tail on. Did I eat it? Yes I did. I typically like them better when they're deep fried but cooking these in butter on the griddle can also get them slightly crispy. Do I do it all the time? No. Like this next spring roll I made, I took it off. They're edible but you want to be careful and chew it thoroughly so they don't get stuck in your throat. Sometimes I'll also eat the shrimp shell when they're fried but I'm also not telling you what to do. So if the thought of eating it grosses you out, then don't eat it.
