Have you ever tried Ackee & Saltfish?

So this is not me making Ackee and Saltfish but it's a throwback to a couple of years ago when I went to a Jamaican restaurant where the owner, Sorrel, made some. He cut up some herbs, tomatoes, green bell peppers, green onions, and onions. Then, he prepared the saltfish by scraping the scales off and removing the meat from the bones. Then, he chopped it up a little bit.

I had never tried Ackee and Saltfish before this, so it was so fun to watch him cook it. Also, apparently if you pick the ackee fruit too early, it can cause really bad sickness and even death. This part scared me at first because he used a knife to open the can of ackee. I was just hoping he didn't cut himself but clearly he is a pro at it. He sauteed the veggies, saltfish and then added the ackee with some seasoning.
