I made candied jalapenos

In today's video I'm trying to make candied jalapenos. I need to use them in an upcoming dish and I've never made them before. I'm using a recipe from Hey Grill hey, the link is down below. The recipe calls for 10 to 12 jalapenos but I sliced up 7 since some of them were quite large. To a medium saucepan, I add one and a half cups of water, 1 cup of sugar, half a cup of white vinegar, a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of celery seed and the sliced jalapenos. I brought it up to a boil and then lowered the heat to simmer for 15 minutes. I really like this recipe because it's so easy. I set it off to the side too cool for a while and then I poured it all into a glass container. When I tried one, the sweetness hit me first. I thought it would mask most of the spiciness but it was still pretty spicy. I'm excited to add this to sandwiches, meats, and spicy pancakes.
