My brother makes some really good pandan waffles and I've always wanted his recipe but he won't share it with anyone. Not even me because it's his store secret but one day, I cracked the code. Last weekend he brought it to a barbecue and my sister-in-law was in charge of cooking all the batter. The pandan extract is what makes waffles green and it also gives it this sweet flavor. It's chewy on the inside but has a nice crisp on the outside. You just have to let it rest a little bit to get that texture. It's another one of those dangerous snacks that I can eat way too many of. And pair this with some cafe sue da and I am in my happy place. Have you tried these waffles before?
