I recently saw a picture of a pork parfait on social media and I knew I had to give it a try. It was created by Troy Evans of The Bomb BBQ in Wichita, Kansas. My short visit to the food truck was a memorable one. Troy was quite the character and he’s doing lots of good things for Wichita.
Troy is a veteran and 10% of his food truck sales goes to Passageways which is a veterans homeless shelter in Wichita.
As he was creating the pork parfait, he mentioned that they also served a hot link sundae, so of course I had to try that as well. Both creations were delicious, and I know I’ll be back to try more of what Troy is making! Come out and support this veteran-owned business!
