In Santa Ana, I visited Faka's Island Grill located in 4th Street Food Market. They serve traditional Hawaiian BBQ. I had the chance to sit down and talk to the owner, Dave Faka as he talked about his goals for the eatery.
I tried a Spam Taco, HUGE Quesadilla, and a Katsu Sando which was made with Hawaiian buns. Definitely an eatery you need to add to your list if you're in Santa Ana. You can find them inside the 4th Street Market where there are some other great eateries.
