The Lenexa Public Market is one of my favorite places to go because it has a lot of great eateries like Sohaila’s Kitchen and African Dream Cuisine. On this visit, I checked out Red Kitchen Tamales where they’re serving up delicious Mexican street food.
The owner is Ale de la Fuentes, and she’s one of the most humble people I’ve ever met. She had me try their famous breakfast burritos, tamales, gorditas, tacos, and more.
After the video shoot, I stayed for another hour just talking with her about random things. You definitely want to check this place out for good eats in Kansas City!
