Chili Lime Wings

In today's video, I'm making some chili lime wings using Max the Meat Guy's recipe. I got some whole chicken wings that I pat dried with some paper towels. You can use whatever seasoning you want. I'm using the rest of this chicken seasoning that I have, along with some chili powder. Then I added some vegetable oil as well so the chicken won't stick to the baking sheet. I popped them into the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit and almost dropped them. That could have been bad. Next, I mixed a one-to-one ratio of sugar to water to make some candied lime for the wings. I put it on medium to low heat and I tried to be cool and slice the lime like Max but I don't have his skills. Then I'm chopping up the rest of the peppers I have from our live stream. After 20 minutes, I flipped the chicken and put it back in for an additional 20 minutes. I cooked the lime for about 15 minutes and then I forgot to dry them before dipping in sugar so there are clumps.

For the sauce I mixed in barbecue sauce, gochujang, ancho chili powder, lime juice, and the chopped peppers. Then I poured the sauce all over the wings and spread the best I could. Back in the oven for 10 minutes. You can leave it in longer if you want a better crust. Garnish with the candy lime and boom, you're done. It's delicious and not too spicy. I do want to try this on a grill next time.
