I made French Toast for the first time

Can you make some French Toast? Sure. I've never made it before so let's give it a try. I got this recipe from Crouton Crackerjacks. I'll link their video down below. You start by mixing 2 eggs, 1/4 a cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 a teaspoon of cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and a splash of vanilla extract. I just kept mixing it until it looked like the cinnamon was broken up. Next, I heated up some vegetable oil on a pan on medium-high heat. Once it was hot enough, I added butter. So butter can burn quickly at high heat but I learned from their video that adding it to vegetable oil increases its heat tolerance so it doesn't burn as easily. I didn't think I added enough vegetable oil so I added a little more.

Then I took a slice of bread and coated each side in the egg mixture and put it in the pan. I didn't really time it. I just flipped it whenever it looked cooked on one side. So quick question. Do you consider French Toast more commonly as breakfast or brunch? I remember my sister making a version of this for me and my younger brother growing up but other than that I didn't really eat it that often. To the French Toast, I added syrup, fresh fruit, and powdered sugar. This actually turned out really good and it was easy to make. Plus, my roommate loved it, so that's a win in my book.
