Lebanese Spicy Potatoes (Batata Harra)

In today's video, I'm making Lebanese Spicy Potatoes. I got this recipe from FeelGoodFoodie, Her video will be linked below. This was very easy to make and it turned out so good.

I cut up 7 potatoes and rinsed them off. Then, I dried them with a clean kitchen towel. I added olive oil, salt, and mixed it all up together. Then, I popped it in the oven at 450 Fahrenheit. Now it's time to make the sauce to pour over the potatoes. Add olive oil to a hot pan with 3-4 minced garlic cloves. In FeelGoodFoodie's recipe she uses red pepper flakes. I'm going to substitute it with dry Thai chili flakes that I tried in my spicy noodle challenge. Then, I'm tossing in a handful of cilantro. Pull the potatoes out at around 15 minutes and make sure to flip them over and then put them back in for another 15 minutes. While they're still hot, pour the sauce over the top and mix it up real good. I added a little bit more cilantro and squeezed lemon juice over the top.

I was going to add more chili flakes but I wanted my roommate to try them and when I took a bite of one of them, it already had quite a bit of heat. I couldn't stop eating these. I kept saying, alright one more, just one more. But it just kept happening. Thanks FeelGoodFoodie for sharing this recipe.
