So in my last video, I made some dinner that I wasn't very happy with it. I was making a lot of mistakes. I don't know, I've just been feeling all over the place but as we were eating dinner, some of my friends came to the house. At first, I thought they were wanting to see Holly's friend that was coming into town but then more random friends showed up. I didn't think too much of it and was actually ready to bounce to work in my office but then Holly yelled out "This is your surprise party". I was like "what?" but apparently they all wanted to congratulate me on hitting one billion views. This was also their farewell to me before I started my road trip. I was completely surprised.
I've been in my own little world so I didn't read the signs. Holly has been asking me all week what my schedule was going to look like. Also she was going to have everyone hide in the basement and then surprise me but I was cooking on the side of the house where I would have seen them. So she had them drive around the block until we were seated. Holly was also making a charcuterie board which she said was going to be for a friend. The friend never showed up by the way. That was just part of the story and one of my friends brought my favorite dessert. So it's funny how I was stressing so much over cooking, messing up dinner for my roommates when my friends were planning a surprise party for me all along.
