Should I call these Mi Goreng Buns?


A lot of people got mad when I called this ramen banh bao in my last video. Rightfully so since it isn't using the traditional dough. So, I don't really know what to call these. Um, maybe ramen buns, or I don't know. You guys tell me. Anyway, I'm using Pillsbury Grands Flakey Biscuit dough and just rolling it out. I'm using Mi Goreng since that's what this person suggested.


I'm adding some pulled pork that I have and I'm going to add some eggs as well. I felt like it was missing some sauce so I added 2x spicy hot sauce from an extra package I had. Then, I folded it up and placed it on parchment paper. Make sure to pinch the top closed so it doesn't open up in the steamer. Then, steam it for 14-15 minutes. These were really good. I got some of the Mi Goreng flavor along with a hint of the spice and the savoriness of the dough.
